Coordinator (Practical Anatomy & Surgical Education - Rentals & Sponsorship)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary: Under general direction, corresponds with physicians, vendors, and equipment manufacturers to promote and coordinate support for professional continuing medical education (CME) workshops and rentals of facilities; contacts potential corporate partners for programs; assists with the requests for products and equipment needed for each workshop; assists in soliciting and organizing rental programs; prepares and tracks agreement contracts; provides initial rental details; assists in processing rental invoicing and tracking payments.

CHARACTERISTIC JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

May include any and/or all of the following:

  1. Coordinates corporate support for each CME workshop held in practical anatomy and surgical education (PASE); elicits corporate partners by sending invitations to medical industry, submitting on-line grant applications, initiating follow up correspondence, and initiating and tracking agreement contracts through the approval process.
  2. Creates collaborative relationships with vendors to encourage new and repeat rental clients; assists with promotion of rentals; serves as liaison with medical industry and medical equipment users to facilitate rentals; confirms schedules and specimen availability; provides assistance with obtaining needed equipment.
  3. Initiates and tracks agreement contracts; assists with on-site event planning and tracking of invoices and payments; assists with oversight of program planning, implementation, and on-site activities.
  4. Coordinates equipment and products needed for the hands-on cadaver lab sessions of CME workshops and rental programs.
  5. Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and experience equivalent to:

Bachelor's degree; supplemented with two (2) years of related experience.
